Dr.  Loretta Howell Lillard 

Dr.  Loretta Howell Lillard received her PhD in Education and Ethnic Studies from Bowling Green State University; her MA Degree in Public Administration from Pepperdine University and a BA Degree in Education from California State University, Dominguez Hills.

Dr. Loretta Howell Lillard is Professor Emeritus at Kennesaw State University. She served as Professor of Elementary and Multicultural Education, Department Chair, and Coordinator of Global Learning during her 18 years of active service.   Dr. Lillard has published numerous  articles and received many grants during her tenure. In addition to university teaching, Dr. Howell-Lillard also served as Assistant Director at the Center for African American Studies at UCLA.  She has served in administrative positions at Bowling Green State University, Morris Brown College and the University Toledo.

Dr. Howell Lillard has traveled widely attending seminars in China, Belize and Italy.  She has taught American students in Paris, France during Summer 2004 and travelled to South Africa twice visiting many countries and conducting research in Capetown (RSA) on women's rights.  She is a member of Words of Faith AME Church and a Life Member of the Women's Missionary Society.  She was recently appointed to serve on the LIFE Member Selection Committee for the Sixth Episcopal District or the AME Church.

Michelle Allen

Michelle Allen is an educator, consummate student, hip-hop curator, and DJ. In 2008, she graduated from the illustrious Savannah State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration concentration in Marketing. She has worked for Fortune 100 companies like ExxonMobil, 7 Eleven, and Nike before realizing her passion for Higher Education. In 2013, she graduated from the real GSU, Georgia Southern University with a Masters degree in Higher Education Administration. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Georgia Southern’s Ed.D in Cultural Curriculum Studies. Her focus is Critical Race Feminism, Hip Hop Culture, and Queer Studies. She is native of Atlanta, GA. Born on the Westside, raised in Smyrna, GA. She aims to construct a curriculum for marginalized populations that honors their experiences, culture, and ways of being while simultaneously expanding their realm of possibilities, goals, and hopes.

One of her favorite quotes by Black Feminist Poet Audre Lorde is “And when we speak we are afraid our words will not be heard nor welcomed, but when we are silent we are still afraid. So it is better to speak remembering we were never meant to survive.”

Shawneithia Howard

Shawneithia Howard was born in Atlanta, Ga., and went on to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from the rising Savannah State University in 2011, where she became a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.. In 2016, she attended Strayer University obtaining her Masters in Accounting. Presently, Shawneithia is continuing her education at University of Georgia’s, Carl Vinson Institute of Government Program, training to advance her knowledge in Governmental Accounting. Residing back in her home town, she is currently an Accountant at Georgia’s Department of Transportation Headquarters. Shawn seeks outdoor adventures and take full advantage in all activities that assist with developing her mind, body and soul.

Shenna M. Jones

Shenna M. Jones, native of Bartow, Georgia is a 2008 graduate of Savannah State University where she received her Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Management. In 2009, Shenna joined the Jefferson County School System until a better opportunity was presented at her Alma Mater, Savannah State University.  As Executive Assistant to the Comptroller in the office of Business and Finance at Savannah State University, Shenna assisted with the fiscal affairs of the University’s faculty and administrative staff.  In 2012, Shenna was offered a position with Amerigroup Community Care, where she served as the Southeast Marketing Account Manager for 5 years. Every year, Shenna had the pleasure of hosting events such as, Amerigroup Safety Palooza, Ultimate Baby Shower, Amerigroup Farmers Market, Tour de Kids Bike Rodeo and Repack the Backpack giving her the opportunity to educate over 33,000 Amerigroup members and Medicaid eligible enrollees within the Southeast region. With her recent promotion as Marketing Coordinator to the Atlanta Amerigroup Marketing team; Shenna still enjoys every bit of the job and is fully committed to supporting her community. Shenna is married to her loving husband Gil Jones of 5 years both reside in Union City, Georgia with their 7 year old Shih-Tzu Kobee.

Ashley Gladden

Ashley Gladden is an educator and a department lead for KidZ Power Zone at her local church. In 2010, she graduated from Kennesaw State University with a Bachelor of Science in Middle Grades Education with concentrations in English Language Arts and Social Science. In 2015, she graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She has taught English for 6 years in the inner city of Atlanta, GA. She is a native of Atlanta, GA. Born in Decatur, Georgia, raised in Stone Mountain, and now residing in Smyrna, GA. Her passion is Literacy in the African American culture. She believes it is essential that all students receive equal education and opportunities. She prides herself on providing a positive culture for students through fun and engaging activities.

JaBre Scott

JaBre Scott currently holds the position as Business Partnership Manager at Sage Software as well is a Founding Partner of Waterproof Cybersecurity. Mr. Scott earned his undergraduate degree at Georgia Southern University and his M.B.A. at American Continental University

Throughout his career at Mr. Scott has received many honors and awards from inside and outside the company. These awards include Sage Payments Solutions New-Hire of the Year Award; Sage Payments Solutions Midtown Department Ambassador; AT&T Presidents Club Winner, Verizon Wireless Career Builders Leadership Program Graduate, Verizon Wireless North Central Atlanta Green Team Award Winner Multiple Times, CITI Bank Customer Service Star Player Award, CITI Bank Rewards and Recognition Board Member

Mr. Scotts mission is to promote the empowerment of minority youth that are seeking to make an impact in today world.  He currently resides in Atlanta Georgia where has volunteered with many organizations as well as organized projects in the community. Mr. Scotts mindset is in today’s world we need more than just money we need hands on mentoring and interactions with the future leaders of our country.
